Weaver is an addictive word game where you build a word ladder based on 2 given words. If you have ever played Wordle and want a challenge with a more novel solution, you can choose Weaver as an alternative.
In Joining Weaver, you will be given 2 words, and your task is to build a word ladder in such a way that your start is the first word and the end is the 2nd word.
In detail, each time you will take a 4-letter word, the only letter of which is different from the first word. And so on until reaching the bottom word (the 2nd word provided). This is a unique way of playing compared to other popular word games.
Moreover, instead of possibly playing only once a day like Wordle or Waffle, you can play any time you want on any device. You will not have to wait but can conquer continuously from puzzle to puzzle.
The most important thing in this game is that you must know how to connect words and, above all, the vocabulary of 4-letter words.
It sounds easy but Weaver confuses a lot of newbies with its gameplay as they don't know how they should start. Have you known how to play Weaver yet?
1. Enter a 4 letter word and make sure that it contains only one letter different from the starter word.
2. The next word is taken with the same rule as the above.
3. Continue these steps until you meet the bottom word.
A specific example is given as follows,
You are given 2 words with the starting word being FEAR and the ending word being CALM.
From FEAR, we change the last letter, from R to L, to get the word FEAL
From FEAL, we change the 3rd letter, from A to L, to get the word FELL
From FELL, we change the first letter, from F to L, to get the word CELL
From CELL, we change the second letter, from E to A, to get the word CALL
At this point, there is only one letter other than the bottom word.
Just change the last L to M to get CALM to win.
We will have the following order for easier observation:
F E A R
F E A L
F E L L
C E L L
C A L L
C A L M
Are you confident that you will win against Weaver? The game is completely free on web browsers.
